If you know me then you know that I love makeup. My vast collection includes products from Urban Decay, Kylie Cosmetics, Revolution, KKW Beauty, Lancôme, Tarte, Too Faced, and so many more. I’m always down to try the latest beauty products, and quite honestly I’m a sucker for special edition collections!
So with that said, I’ve got quite the collection of makeup and obviously have a lot of favorite products and recommendations. I’m not going to go super in-depth with my favorite products for every step of my makeup routine, but I am going to share some of my favorite go-to products (at least right now) that you should definitely consider adding to your makeup lineup.
The Bronze Palette – Kylie Cosmetics
Okay, if you’re in the market for a nude palette, then you should definitely get the bronze palette. This 9-pan eyeshadow palette is perfect for creating an everyday look. I seriously use it every time I do my makeup! The lightest color, Jasper, is a nice creamy beige matte that is the perfect base for any look. I have other nude/neutral palettes, but the combination of colors in this palette makes it superior to all my other ones.
Blush Subtil – Lancôme
Super silky, this oil-free blush is my favorite one to use. I use the color “Aplum”, which is a nice berry-tone that compliments my fair skin. The best way to apply it in my opinion is using the Morphe brush M495, so you get a nice distribution across your cheekbones. I honestly feel like this blush goes with every look too. I sometimes use the KKW blush “Flower Wall” from the Mrs. West Collection if I’m looking for a more pink look instead.
Born This Way Foundation & Concealer – Too Faced
I’ve tried a LOT of foundations and concealers since I began wearing makeup, but I think my favorite is Too Faced’s Born This Way. Not to be cheesy, but the formula really does melt in my skin and looks so natural. It’s so soft when it dries, and it provides the perfect coverage. As for the concealer, it’s amazing simply because you can use it in place of your foundation if you’re traveling or simply looking for something a little lighter.
Lash Blowout – IT Cosmetics
WOW. Those were the words that came from my mouth when I tried out this mascara. I’ve been loyal to Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara since high school, but when I saw the Lash Blowout trending on TikTok this past summer, I had to try it. IT Cosmetics partnered with Drybar® to make this biotin-infused formula, and it is a true game-changer. My lashes look amazing when I put it on, almost like I’m wearing falsies! The cute tube is a bonus too.
Dual Finish Highlighter Multi-Tasking Illuminating Powder – Lancôme
This highlighter is super creamy, and its light-reflecting pearls are perfect for creating the perfect glow. Not only do I use this on my cheekbones, but I also use a little in the arch of my eyebrows to add a little extra shimmer. The wet-dry technology of this highlight is perfect if you want to be able to switch it up between an intense glow or a more subtle shine. I personally use the shade “Sparkling Pêche” to achieve a more golden glow, but if you’re more into a rosy glow, then you can get it in the shade “Radiant Rose Gold”.
Medicated Lip Balm – Carmex
I don’t know if this really even classifies as makeup, but regardless, this chapstick is my EVERYTHING. I’ve been using Carmex since high school, and have since graduated from the classic tube to the original stick. I’m constantly applying chapstick like a mad man – soft lips are important! No one wants to look at or kiss crusty and dry lips. I said what I said. The SPF 15 in it makes it even better, protecting your lips from cancer AND aging.
What are some of your favorite go-to makeup products? I’m always down to try something new, so let me know!
